Privacy policy
This page describes the types of data the current WafyURL application may process to provide link shortening and abuse prevention.
Information processed
The application stores submitted destination URLs, short codes, creation and expiry timestamps, click totals, optional password hashes and request metadata such as IP address, user agent and referrer where available.
Why information is used
Data is used to create and redirect short links, record basic link activity, troubleshoot errors and help detect misuse. Do not submit sensitive personal information in URLs or link passwords.
Retention and control
Links and click logs may remain in the database until an operator deletes them or retention rules are introduced. The current application does not provide a self-service account dashboard for managing or deleting link records.
Third-party infrastructure
Hosting, database, and destination-preview requests may involve service providers. Review the applicable provider privacy terms before production launch. This page should be reviewed for the actual deployment and applicable legal requirements.
